This past Saturday, 14 teens piled into the big red vans with Damien and myself, and headed up to the Carrabassett Valley for an overnight at the new Flagstaff Lake Hut. The weather was absolutely perfect for a weekend of snowshoeing, hiking, skiing, and yes, hanging out in the lodge!Highlights of the trip include a hike across Flagstaff Lake itself, gorgeous views of Bigelow Mountain, delicious food prepared by the hut staff, and capture the flag after dark. Some teens enjoyed snowshoeing on an ungroomed trail around the lake, while others took advantage of the nicely groomed ski trails. Everyone enjoyed the time in the great outdoors!
